As Partner of the Audit Department, Jacob provides comprehensive audit, accounting and consulting services for local governments, closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Jacob joined the Faulk & Winkler family in 2004 and worked his way up to Partner in 2016. Jacob’s previous experience and the relationships he has built while at Faulk & Winkler have made him a true asset to the firm.
Jacob pursued a career in accounting due to his fascination with numbers and the role they play in business. Today, he attributes his professional success to his hard work, dedication and the desire to continue growing on a personal and professional level.
Jacob’s professional career path began in 2003, while attending Southeastern Louisiana University. Before joining Faulk & Winkler, he worked at a firm in LaPlace as a staff intern providing tax preparation and client accounting services.
Jacob grew up in Reserve, Louisiana and currently lives in Prairieville with his wife, Courtney, and their boys, Jake, Carter and Brooks. Outside of dealing with numbers and facts, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and playing a round of golf. He is an avid Louisiana State University sports fan.
