We are pleased to announce two promotions that will enrich the future of our firm and the capacity to serve our clients. Effective July 1, 2019, Alex Tucker, CPA and Scott Lazarone, CPA have been promoted to partner.

 “We are very excited about Alex and Scott taking on new leadership roles within the firm,” said Tommy LeJeune, managing partner of Faulk & Winkler. “Both Alex and Scott have been very proactive and dedicated to the advancement of our firm specifically in building meaningful relationships with clients and employing initiatives which add to the firm’s overall culture. The energy and dedication that both Alex and Scott put into their work is a great testament to the future of the firm, and we are confident that our clients will be in great hands for years to come. “

 Alex joined the firm in 2017 previously serving as director of the tax department. “Alex’s qualifications are exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his values and service standards align with the firm’s,” said LeJeune. In addition to his leadership within the tax department, Alex spearheaded technological advancement projects to update, organize and implement new systems and increase efficiency for the operation of the firm and client service.  In his role as partner, he will continue providing leadership, proactive service and strategic development with special emphasis on the healthcare and construction industries. Alex has over 17 years of professional experience in the private and public sectors of accounting, is a graduate of Louisiana State University, and serves on the board of directors for Opera Louisiane.

 As partner, Scott oversees the firm’s Client Accounting Services (CAS) Department where he is responsible for managing and leading all out-sourced accounting initiatives. Additionally, he provides consulting services to many of the firm’s non-profit and governmental organizations. Scott joined Faulk & Winkler in 2012 and spent 7 years providing assurance, accounting and business consulting services for closely held businesses, non-profits and governmental clients within our audit department. He has been a manager at the firm since 2015 providing mentorship and leadership across various departments. “Scott’s dedication and commitment to not only our clients but also our staff has proven to be a huge asset to our firm,” said LeJeune. Scott is currently serving as the Treasurer for the Rotaract Professionals of Baton Rouge.
